On November 29th the Federalist Society's Religious
Liberties Practice Group co-sponsored a debate on Ayotte v. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England in Washington, D.C. which
included Nancy Northup, President, The Center for Reproductive Rights; William L. Saunders, Senior Fellow and Director, Center for Human Life and Bioethics
Family Research Center and was moderated by David Masci, Senior Research Fellow, Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.

29, 2005 - Faith-Based Initiatives Conference
On
February 10th the Federalist Society's Religious Liberties Practice Group will
host a day-long Conference featuring a post-election look at charitable choice
and faith-based initiatives in Washington, D.C. The Conference will feature Hon.
Jim Towey, Director, White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives,
U.S. Rep. Mark A. Green (WI-8) and many others who will focus on an empirical
analysis of past such initiatives, discussion of such efforts in the states, the
contours of President Bush's proposal and prospects for passage of federal legislation.
