The Federalist Society Seeks Nominations for 2007 Bator Award
 


The Federalist Society is seeking nominations for the 2007 Paul M. Bator Award. This yearly award recognizes a young academic, under the age of 40, whose life, work, and ideals most closely embody those of the late Paul M. Bator. Created in 1989, the award was established to honor the memory of the late University of Chicago Law School professor and his lifetime of achievement. The award will be presented at the Society's annual National Student Symposium in early 2007.

Nominees for the award should have made a significant public impact through their work and demonstrate excellence in legal scholarship, a commitment to teaching, and a concern for students. Nominations should be submitted to the National Office of The Federalist Society by August 15, 2006.
